GREEN TEA-FOR HEALTH

Green tea is used in diets and can benefit you in your physical health.
It was used by the Chinese but now it is introduced to Americans.
It’s ingredients combine EGCG with certain enzymes to prevent cancer cells.
Studies have shown that combining caffeine with green tea extracts help burn calories.
According to the studies, the green tea contains antioxidants which have protective effect against cancer.
Its extracts are available in capsule form and its dosage and effects remain uncertain. In U.S. it is sold as a dietary supplement, so there is no need to prove that they are effective and safe.
There are three types of tea: green tea, black tea, and oolang tea. The difference between green tea and others is that green tea is not fermented, thus keeping powerful antioxidants not lost in the fermenting process. Therefore green tea contains more catechins and vitamins than black tea.
Benefits of green tea:
It lowers blood pressure, prevent infections and help with impaired immunity functions. It is rich in EGCG (Epigallocatechin gallate), which is a powerful antioxidant. It fights viruses, slow aging and have beneficial effect on health. It makes your skin healthier.
It is rich in bioflavonoid and protects against respiratory and digestive infections. It helps in decreasing hormone activity and is an efficient treatment for acne. It also protects against liver damage.
It slows down the abnormal formation of blood clots which lead to strokes and heart attacks. It stabilizes diabetes. It improves the bowel function.
If you are suffering with bacterial or infection problems, green tea prevents symptoms if you exercise regularly. It prevents tooth decay, if you include it in your diet. It also helps in preventing cavities.
Drinking at least two cups of green tea daily can help reduce health risks as well as help with the process of weight loss.
It not only helps in health and fitness but it also helps in reducing cancer, cardiovascular disease, rheumatoid arthritis, cholesterol and other health problems.
Researchers found that Japanese and French people are healthy even after smoking as a result of drinking EGCG based green tea.
Green tea weight loss:
Green tea also helps in weight loss by increasing body’s metabolism. If you consume regularly, it burns as much as seventy to eighty calories. It slows down the absorption of fats and regulates glucose. It prevents insulin spikes and slows the rise of blood sugar after every meal. It reduces the hunger, because as it slows the rise of blood sugar, you will consume food less than usual.
Effects of green tea:
Green tea is generally safe. It may have few side effects. Some people may develop allergic reactions. They should immediately stop drinking it. If you are drinking large quantities of green tea, it may cause nutritional and other problems due to the caffeine content present in the tea.
Too much caffeine can lead to trouble sleeping, frequent urination and nausea. If you have irregular heart beats or anxiety disorders, you should be careful in using green tea as caffeine acts as a stimulant.
Pregnant and breast feeding women should not drink large amounts of green tea as caffeine can cross placenta and be passed along in breast milk.
